I thought it would be a good idea (and a good time) to spend some time on my blog helping my readers and clients get to know me, Katrina Dalbey, the face of All Things Simple, Photography, a little better. While I am privileged to know some of my clients very well there are others who I have only met at our photo shoot or I do not know at all.  Before the crazy season of family photographs ramps up here is a quick moment to get to know me.  Yes, I am Katrina Dalbey.  I am a wife to Steven and we have two beautiful and very active children.  You may have seen our children’s faces on my blog from time to time.   I am also a sister to three siblings and a friend to many.  I am a proud Mizzou Alum and also have a graduate degree from Covenant Seminary.  Some of my interests, outside of Photography, are reading, organizing and being outdoors.  I specifically love hiking and traveling.  While having two young children does not give us the opportunity to travel as much we do love a good hike out at Castlewood State Park or a walk around our neighborhood to our local park.  Oh yes, I also love working in my yard.  If I had extra time I would take up sewing or some type of needlepoint. I guess you could say that I love art and I love being artistic.  I also think its important to note that I have a loving family (on both sides) that care for me and my family very well.  We love living in the same town as our parents so that our kids can be around their grandparents as much as possible.
Here are some quick notes about All Things Simple, Photography.  I founded this photography adventure in 2010.  I wanted to grow my love and gift for photography as well as serve people in my family and community.  I have seen the most growth the past year and really enjoy meeting new clients and working with close friends.  I am a Nikon camera girl but I know those other camera brands a great as well.  My photography passion was handed to me by my dad.  He is a landscape photographer and I grew up talking about Aperture, composition and lighting on our many family vacations.  I am thankful he encourages my photography dreams.  I love my job and am so thankful for all the support and encouragement.  Please visit our website to learn more or to inquire about our services.
